2016 Finishes

Well we are 5 months into the new year and I have a few finishes to share.  I hope to have a couple more by the end of next week.  I've stitched Spring Fling but need to finish the border.  Also working on Autumn Silhouette and loving every stitch.  I got to say one color floss charts make a quick work of stitching.

I was lucky enough that a dear friend loaned me her chart so I could stitch this beauty.  It's been on my wish list for several years now and the secondary market prices had convinced me that the wish would never be realized.  It is seriously my favorite stitch and it's like saying one child is a favorite, it's just not right but after seeing the pictures see if you don't agree.

 

It is stitched on Millennium Blue 32count Zweigart using the Gentle Art flosses.  The colors just really pop on this fabric and I can't wait to get it framed.
