Three Stockings
Instead of just collecting the stocking charts, I thought it was time to get stitching them, too! Here are my latest stockings. I stitched Souvenir of Paris, from the Joyeux Noel book, as charted on 30 ct R&R St. Valentine's Blend with Gentle Arts Sampler Threads and Weeks Dye Works threads.
Snowy Eve is from the Merry December leaflet. It was stitched on 30ct Iced Cappuccino with Crescent Colours, Weeks Dye Works, and Gentle Arts Sampler Threads.
Winter Song is from the 2008 Just Cross Stitch ornament issue, and was stitched with Gentle Arts Sampler Threads, Crescent Colours, and Weeks Dye Works threads on 30 ct Iced Cappuccino.
The three together:

Two bird finishes
I stitched Gathering Basket on 30 ct Iced Cappucchino or 30 ct Irish Creme by R&R with Crescent Colours floss. It's one of the Rewards of Merit designs.
I stitched the Pumpkin Blossom design from Loose Feathers #4 into a small pin pillow. I stitched it with Gentle Arts Sampler Threads on 30 count R&R linen.
And the two together--
Wishing you all a very happy 2012!

Anniversaries of the Heart
I am happy to report that I finished up my Anniversaries of the Heart!
I had so much fun with this sampler, trying to figure out which beloved family member would be featured in each block. I changed the personalization in For Those Recorded Here to reflect more of me as the stitcher of the sampler. The Irish verse relates to the town where we live.
And the full thing--

Moonlight Visitor
Hello everybody! I am stitching my Anniversaries of the Heart on one piece of 40 ct Examplar linen by Lakeside Linens. I'm using the suggested threads. I dedicated this block to my maternal grandfather.
I changed the colors in the dog to represent my best buddy and faithful stitching companion, Duffy, who is a tricolor Cavalier King Charles spaniel.

House on Acorn Hill
I started Blackbird's House on Acorn Hill as a stitch along with a very special friend. Elaine passed away in 2008 without finishing her sampler. I stitched her initials along with mine at the bottom of my sampler, to remember in thread the friend that will always live in on in my heart.
I stitched my sampler with Gentle Arts Sampler Thread on 32 ct. R&R Goldfinch linen.

Anniversaries--so far
I'm having so much fun stitching Blackbird's Anniversaries of the Heart. I'm enjoying figuring out different personalizations to represent my family. I'm using 40 count Examplar by Lakeside Linens with the suggested overdyed threads. Here is Snow Garden:
This is Valentine Rose:
Finally, I stitched A Wish for You to represent my husband.
You can read more details about the personalizations on my blog, Notes from Blue Hen Hollow.
