I started Blackbird's House on Acorn Hill as a stitch along with a very special friend. Elaine passed away in 2008 without finishing her sampler. I stitched her initials along with mine at the bottom of my sampler, to remember in thread the friend that will always live in on in my heart.

I stitched my sampler with Gentle Arts Sampler Thread on 32 ct. R&R Goldfinch linen.
