Wild Berry

These strawberry pincushions from the 'Joyeux Noel' book are just wonderful to stitch up and put together. These are 'thank you' gifts. I have several more to do as gifts for birthdays and thankyou's they work up quickly.

Two of the strawberries are already wrapped in a clear cellophane bag with a pretty cardboard and two hole punches for the ribbon tie.

I stuffed them with wool roving and then secured a curtain strip weight to the back seam to keep the strawberry from rolling over.

  1. These are adorable! What a great idea for a thank you gift. Not only is your stitching and finishing great but I love the way you packaged them.

  2. How pretty! I've been looking for an easy/quick stitch for thank you gifts. May give it a try.

  3. How beautiful. I think I know what I am going to make for my fellow teachers/helpers in Sunday School. I have plenty of disposable plastic pastry bakes in my baking gear. I think that would be such a great way to package these. Christmas ornaments here I come. :-) Thanks for sharing.

  4. Oops. I should sleep before I post. I plan to package the ornaments in the clear disposable pastry bags not bakes. :-) LOL
